| |  Unconfirmed: Star Wars: KotOR MMO to be Revealed Soon
Let's start this old rumor mill up again, as word comes from UK newspaper The Daily Star that a Star Wars: KotOR MMORPG will be revealed within the month, CVG reports. But it looks like the game won't (officially at least) be a secret for long. LucasArts and BioWare look set to lift the lid on a KOTOR MMO within the next 30 days.
Backing up all this is the strongest confirmation yet (other than EA's boss saying it's in the works, of course) from UK newspaper, The Daily Star, of all places. Spotted on MMOWatch. |

Of course for the first time in it's history it may have come up with the truth before it was old hat, but I wouldn't bet on it. In fact based on past performance I'm tempted to nip down to William Hill (bookies) and place a bet on there never being a KOTOR MMO.
I suspect this time they may actually have got lucky though unfortunately. I certainly wont' be adding it to my KOTOR collection though if they have.

| | | I would tend to agree with galraen. I do not mind the concept of a MMO placed in the time period of the Old Republic, but anything which comes out as KotOR III: Another Attempt at Star Wars MMO Gameplay and I'll likely be more than a little angry.
I would like to continue a single player epic tale, rather than enter a universe and have to deal with other folks, which would totally destroy the continuity and experience gained from the first two games. |

| | | Galaxies, and I know it's had some shakey changes to it which has really altered it's success and performance over the past few years. Besides which, the game is likely felt to be becoming outmoded, especially with so many other MMOs hitting the scenes since it was released and now.
There's quite a few Star Wars titles which could be coming out and be a success -- Battlefront III, for example, would be met with great enthusiasm, as would another Old Republic RPG.
