But anyhow, back to The Specifics. It's hard to say whether it's fun or not. Creating those specifics is where one gets to see all the ideas finally taking form, finally beginning to exist in something more than one's head. On the other hand, it can be somewhat tedious... and it's also where all the horrible little problems that one never, ever thought about beforehand crop up: "you mean... we can't do 'X' that way? But... but that... totally invalidates 'Y' and 'Z!' It'll have to be totally re-engineered!" (howls of anguish ensue).
