The folks at Monkeycube have written up a review of The Matrix Online, giving the sci-fi MMORPG an overall score of 4/5. Here's why: My only complaints about this game, really, are the server and lag issues, which are temporary and happen to all MMORPGs, the graphics, which could be better, but not by much, and the fact that The Matrix's signature Bullet Time doesn't happen nearly often enough. There have been a couple of awesome moments of slow-mo violence, but there could be so much more.
My final conclusion, when considering The Matrix Online, is that I do not regret spending sixty dollars on a single game in this case. This is a sign, because I'm cheap, and often broke. The game is money well spent, and time well wasted. |
