four-page review of The Bard's Tale, giving the PC version an overall score of 8/10. Their conclusion to follow:
The Bard's Tale will most likely not reach the same cult classic status that its illustrious ancestors garnered, but it does manage to stand on its own two legs, mostly thanks to the top-class interpretations of a top class cast of professional Hollywood actors. The Bard's style may not be for everyone, but those who can take a little rudeness will find untold treasures and gems in the Bard's murky soul, and the solid action game that's attached to it definitely comes as a handy added extra.
