Post Tactica Online Developer Diary

Imaginary Numbers' official Tactica Online website has been updated with a new developer diary that discusses the team's decision not to include hidden skills in the game. Here's how it starts out:
We were originally going to have hidden skills in Tactica. These were skills that didn't appear in any documentation, and that we wouldn't officially mention until players found them. Players would know that there was one of each type, but they would only appear in the list of skills available to learn when a character had the right combination of prerequisites.

The idea was that these would provide a reward to those players who wanted to explore the game mechanics - they would get access to these skills before anyone else, as well as the notoriety that comes from being the person who discovered one.
