Computer Games Magazine has conducted an interview with LucasArts' Julio Torres, in which the producer talks about the tie-ins between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and the upcoming Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees expansion. An excerpt:
Q: How will the expansion pack tie into the events of the forthcoming movie Revenge of the Sith?

A: Since Star Wars Galaxies is set between Episodes IV and V, we’re in a unique position with the prequels. Every time something is added to the Star Wars Universe set before Episode V, we can incorporate that content into our game. For instance, when a space vehicle like Anakin’s Starfighter or a mount like Obi Wan’s “Boga” in Revenge of the Sith debuts with the movie, they can logically be added to Galaxies as vehicles and mounts our players can own.

The other advantage to Galaxies being in the time frame it is, we can reveal what happened with certain characters or storylines in the prequels. Look for relics of the Clone Wars and a look at General Grievous almost 20 years later in Episode III Rage of the Wookiees.
