a preview of BioWare's upcoming Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic. Check it out:
It will be the variety and AI of the NPCs that make the galaxy convincing and the hundreds of virtual extras will react very differently to your group, depending upon their Force alignment. All NPCs will have advanced lip-synching, made possible by an all-new 3D engine that has been optimised for the latest video cards and will also allow you to choose camera angles, the default being quite high, giving a good view of the horizon. Other facial and physical animations will add gesture and body language to dialogue as a communicator of emotion - this includes moving fingers, eyes and even eyebrows.
