RPG Vault takes
yet another look at the games being developed in the former Soviet bloc, once again focusing on action-oriented titles. GSC's upcoming Heroes of Annihilated Empires sounds pretty interesting:
Slated to be the first segment of a trilogy, Heroes of Annihilated Empires is a real-time strategy game incorporating role-playing influences. It takes place in a fantasy world where six races stand poised to become embroiled in a conflict of unparalleled proportions. The story element will charge you to rise from humble beginnings to that of a hero leading thousands of soldiers you've attracted to your service. Of course, you'll have to avoid being crushed by the powerful enemies you're sure to make along the way in pursuit of your destiny.
