Options On Character Faces

Gamer asks, exactually how does the important face creation work?

I was wondering what kind of options on charcter heads we would have specifically for for PCs. I mean general options, like having three hair-length options eg. bald, short hair, long hair. Basically because im planning on a monk(dwarven) that is bald, but i just couldnt feel that im fully into my charcter if i want him to be bald and i see a full head of hair on my figure. i know the portraits are suppposed to represent how your character looks facially but...

...You won't have piece-by-piece control over hair, moustaches, hats, beards, etc, because each "piece" we add to the character model costs a little bit more in the engine (slows down performance, etc). Instead, we've gone in and created a bunch of mix-and-match heads on your behalf. As a result, you get a fair amount of variety (including bald dwarves) and we get to keep everything down to just a single piece.

    Balding gracefully,
    Rob Bartel
