Morrowind Expo Preview

Buried in their E3 impressions, FiringSquad usually putting one or two games per page, is a curiously long two page preview of the RPG I get the shivers (in a good way) just thinking about, Morrowind. Here's a splash o' gravy:

Take, as an example, the typical Elder Scrolls 200+ hours of gameplay - but contrast that with a world that is hand-crafted and doesn't look like it was made by a random-generator (a la Daggerfall or Arena). To further increase variety, the world builders have four distinct cultures to play with - none of whom particularly like each other or strangers, least of all the player character who represents the fifth official force in Morrowind - the Empire.
