interview with Matt Firor of Mythic Entertainment has surfaced over at HomeLan Fed. In it, Matt talks about in-game cheating, an engine upgrade, a possible expansion, and more. Here's a snippet:
Q: In a recent update to the Camelot Herald web site there was a mention of a new engine for the game that will be implemented later this year. What can you tell us about the plans for this new engine and what features will it contain?
A: This is still in the planning stages, but we've already announced a few aspects of it - it will involve an overhaul and upgrade of the game's graphical client engine. We use the NetImmerse engine, and will upgrade to their new version which will let us take advantage of many more advanced graphical features such as texture-swapping, better water effects, etc.
