Mass Effect E3 Preview

AtomicGamer is the latest website to put together a preview of Mass Effect, based on what they saw of BioWare's tactical RPG during this year's E3.

Many parallels can be drawn between Mass Effect and Bioware’s last major game, Knights of the Old Republic. You’ll play a character whose gender and starting can be chosen. You’ll have two buddies with you. You’ll be able to channel Biotic energy, much like the Force, and you’ll be unraveling a story about the possible end of all life in the galaxy. But this is a whole new property and while some of the gameplay conventions are similar, you’ll find that Mass Effect is truly next-gen.
