TeleFragged has published a
preview of Jade Empire, after playing a short demo of BioWare's upcoming Xbox RPG. An excerpt:
I think that Bioware's got a potentially great game on their hands here; while the appeal of a Star Wars game like KOTOR is certainly strong, it's quite possible that Jade Empire could be Bioware's best game since Baldur's Gate II. While the larger focus on action is going to turn off those that want a hardcore RPG, the unique focus on martial arts in a large, open setting like the world Bioware has crafted could really pay off. While the demo I played doesn't give anywhere near the whole picture, it tells me that Jade Empire really is a game to look out for. Bioware's committed to an April release for the game on the Xbox.
