Post GURPS Project Magazine Preview

No Mutants Allowed has uploaded three scans depicting a 1996 magazine preview of Interplay's GURPS project, which later became Fallout. Had the game been released as a GURPS title, I can't help but wonder if Steve Jackson's tabletop franchise would be a much more recognizable (and profitable) brand today.

Fallout would've been a superior product, without a doubt. Love SPECIAL, but it's still essentially a stop-gap system compared to GURPS.

Tim Cain's timetravelling GURPS idea would've been awesome+. Re-imagining of Meantime, in any case.

Complete agreement with Brother None. Full GURPS implementation couldn't have done anything except help.
