Post GB Feature: Loki: Heroes of Mythology Contest

We're pleased to announce that we've teamed up with DreamCatcher Games to give away a half dozen copies of the North American release of Cyanide Studios' Loki: Heroes of Mythology. To enter the contest, all you have to do is send us an email with a quick reason why we should send out a free copy of Loki to your door. Six lucky winners will be randomly chosen from all entries on October 26th, 2007 (next Friday).

Due to shipping constraints, this contest is only available to entrants located in the United States. Good luck!

Nerf

What if I pay for shipping, can I get a copy then?

It's really cost-prohibitive to send a $40 game overseas; it would almost be cheaper to buy a copy locally. Based on previous experience, I think the cheapest shipping method is right around $20 to Europe with no way to track it and at least a week or two in transit (if it ever gets there). To send it with tracking information and have it arrive in a reasonable amount of time is $30+, depending on location. On top of that, there's also a lot of extra paperwork to do.

I'd like to open our contests up worldwide, but unfortunately it's unrealistic at the moment. Maybe in the future a publisher will just send us gift codes to grab the game for free via digital download. That would probably be the best way to do it.

Well, sent my email in. I don't usually do contests like this, but I've played Loki before and LOVED it. Too bad it was my friends copy and I had to give it up
