Post Fable 2 GDC Presentation

GameTrailers has tossed up Peter Molyneux's entire GDC presentation of Fable 2 online in three separate parts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3).

Looks pretty good so far, but I find the lighting off-putting because it seems to make every surface bright up till the point it's blinding. The family side does look like an aesthetic just like the marriage in Fable.

Haven't seen a hint of a story, though. I wonder if Lionhead is holding the details up till later?

Eh.. I laughed when he took the husband out. I'm easy crowd.

Odd how the camera didn't seem to focus on either player while they were playing in COOP mode. That seems to work out okay, but a couple of times you see just one player suck up all the xp that is laying around.

This probably won't be possible, but imagine the controversy if players could get each other pregnant. It seems like such a small step from here . Then again, a game that lets two players raise a child together could be sort of sweet.

But not practical at the same time. Two people playing the same single player game where you play a main character. Definitely won't work and hard to fathom.

I'd rather only say 'hard to phantom'. It won't work until somebody tries to make it to. I've for the longest time enjoyed coop play in other games, incidentally of different genres. Doom, Unreal.. oh the nostalgia.

I'd love to go back there again, but games are rarely shipped with a COOP mode these days.
