Post EverQuest II Interview

EverQuest II senior designer Tony Garcia took the time to answer IncGamers' questions about the game's lore and background, as well as what we can expect from the team in the future.
Q: Lucan D'Lere and Antonia Bayle are very mysterious, living locked in their own castles. Why are they hiding from their people when at the same time queens of Kelethin and Neriak are visited? Will it be possible someday to meet them and work for them in a more direct way and visit their castles?

A: Antonia and Lucan are integral parts of a large picture that is being painted. The day will come when players will interact with them.

As far as hiding, they are not. The Overlord prefers to keep to himself within the impregnable Dethknell Citadel alongside some of his greatest secrets. If you are not a Lucanic Knight or a high officer in his charge, you will not be allowed inside that fortress. Antonia would prefer to walk the streets of Qeynos and no doubt spend hours within the Elddar Grove. It surely reminds her of Tearfall, her birthplace and home of the Sisterhood of Erollisi. Unfortunately, there are regal duties and tradition that she is forced to endure since becoming Queen of Qeynos.
