Earthrise Interview, Part One

RPG Vault has kicked up their own interview with Masthead Studios CEO Atanas Atanasov and lead designer Apostol Apostolov about Earthrise.

Q: What are the main events that happened prior to the start of play leading to the war and the creation of the gameworld environment in which Earthrise will take place?

Atanas Atanasov: In the war, humanity was almost wiped out, and the few lucky survivors developed various forms of mutation. After the war ended, the newly born humans from the Continoma project start to build a new society. However, the new world leaders, being in charge of the cloning process, decide to play God and introduce a dictatorship on the paradise island.

Several decades later a resistance called Noir formed. They fight to overthrow the government and change the political regime. Players enter the game shortly after these events. They will be the new citizens who will decide the fate of mankind. The whole story is hundreds of pages long, and people will get acquainted with it by following it on our site and playing the game after release.
