Turbine's official Dungeons & Dragons Online website has been updated with news that Alpha testing of the MMORPG is about to begin. You'll also find several Alpha-related questions answered in a new FAQ that's been posted in the update. Interested in increasing your chances to participate in the Alpha testing? Read on:

Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances of getting into Alpha or Beta?

Other than making sure to sign up for the forums, not really. We may be hand-selecting some players based on the quality (not necessarily quantity) of their posts however, so we do encourage you to participate in the forums. We’ll be inviting people based on a number of factors – our goal is to build a large, diverse beta community, so we’ll be looking for players with a wide range of experience. Of course, there will also be a large random element involved as well. The best advice we can give is signup, answer the questions as accurately (and truthfully) as possible, register on the forums, and keep your fingers crossed
