The guys at Gamecloud have written up
a short preview of Dungeons & Dragons Online, after checking out a demo of Turbine's MMORPG during the recent Penny Arcade Expo. A snippet:
The folks at Turbine plan to follow the current D&D rule book for the online MMO and that includes character creation. While disabled in the PAX demo, D&D Online will allow people to pick from a number of different races and classes and they said it could take experiences players as much as a half-hour to create their characters. Races will range from human to dwarves to elves and classes include cleric, barbarian, ranger, wizard and more with more planned races and classes in the works.
