Drakensang: The Dark Eye Gone Gold

From Anaconda's official forums comes word that the German version of Drakensang: The Dark Eye has gone gold. System requirements available here.

Here we go: The German-language version of the RPG The Dark Eye: Drakensang has reached its gold master status after multiple years of development and is now being pressed in production.

Furthermore the publisher dtp Entertainment confirms 01 August 2008 as the publication date for Drakensang in Gemany, Austria and Switzerland. On the day of publication the standard edition as well as the Limited Collector's edition of the game will be located on store shelves.

No official word on the English language version, but it seems they're only fully starting localization now, so publishing in other countries will take a while and possibly depend on local success.
