Jolt Online Gaming has posted their
review of Dark Age of Camelot: Catacombs, giving the MMORPG expansion an overall score if 9.0/10. Here's why:
Undoubtedly Catacombs is the best thing to hit DAoC in a long while, but although it does make the game more beginner friendly, it’s hard to see it competing with the mighty WoW. Having said that, if you find WoW a bit too lacking in depth – especially PvP-wise – then the DAoC box set might be right up your street. For current players the expansion is a must-have, and that’s what the score reflects. It’s nice to see a supposedly old MMORPG still getting the attention it needs and bringing on board new ideas while maintaining a unique identity among its peers.
