Camelot Herald Update

Matt Firor posted a news blurb on Camelot Herald today letting everyone know that some interesting changes are going to be tested later this week on DAoC's Pendragon server. Here's the gist of it:

This week on Pendragon, you're going to see mid to high level assassins climbing keep walls, basic shapeshifting, flaming weapons (and other effects too), Bounty Points that you can accrue based on your Realm Points and can then spend at special Bounty stores to purchase special items only available there, and some new abilities to spice up some melee classes that need them.

Of course added to this is the continual addition of new quests to the game, fixing problems in current quests, modifying and enhancing monster encounters and lots of other world/quest items. Also we'll continue our tweaking of the spell system and will continue to make changes there.

Our art department is working on getting some long-awaited new monster models, at least some of which should go into the game this week as well.
