Post Blizzard Confirms Fourth Project

This should really not come as a surprise to anyone following Blizzard, but they've confirmed there is a fourth project (together with WoW: Wrath of the Lich King, Starcraft II and Diablo III) they're working on, the unnamed MMO, in a video interview at Onlinewelten. Destructoid confusingly takes much from it.
No, [Diablo 3] is obviously not, since Diablo is not an MMO. We have another development team…

At this point the interviewer cuts off Pardo, and his response gets quite jarbled. But immediately following, Pardo confirms that there is still “another unknown project” in the works. The big question is, was Pardo referring to the MMO ad still, or was he talking about another game altogether?

All this does is force us to speculate together. I’ll put my money on Lost Vikings III. It’s been a long time since I have seen Erik the Swift, Baleog the Fierce, and Olaf the Stout. The adventurous type would probably venture to guess World of Blackthorne, where players can endlessly grind on orcs with their trusty shotgun and mullet.
I personally hope it's a new franchise, really.

What? There was a Lost Vikings 2? I don't remember hearing of a sequel to Lost Vikings. Besides, how to you base an MMO on the adventures of the three vikings? Doesn't make much sense...

Anyway, let me guess... World of Starcraft? World of Diablo?

Actually, a World of Starcraft or World of Diablo would be a good move on their part. An MMO like that can go good or bad, quite obviously, but then there's the back-up game they have in the normal style, Starcraft 2, and Diablo 3. So if they make a World of Diablo, and it fails, they'll still have Diablo 3 to keep their reputation up, sales going, and so forth.

Still, I doubt that they'd release a game that's tied into with their current projects.

I probably assume that this project is scheduled for the future. No way Blizzard would want to stretch themselves thin when they're already working on Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

I sincerely hope they're pacing themselves.
