| Sorry for necro-posting but I just want to say that I downloaded this demo and gave it a go yesterday. Have to turn off all the graphics options, inculding High Pixel Shaders and Distortions to get better performance (Using a Geforce 6600, by the way). Still looked good, though, even without the shaders enabled thanks to the superb art direction.
Anyway, based on the demo, I find the controls are troublesome to deal with, due to being able to use both plasmids and guns. Not a big deal but can be a bit of a chore at times, especially in the middle of a battle. The enemies aren't that smart at all, as they charge at you with a pipe and even those armed with guns don't take cover when being fired upon.
Didn't get to fight the 'Big Daddy' as the demo ended at the part where you're trapped in some airlock room after the restaurant level with the picture of Andrew Ryan yelling accusations at you.
