Post Bethesda Softworks is Hiring!

Bethesda Softworks' official website has been updated with several new job listings, including sales director, project manager, associate producer, and more.

I hope that is for Fallout 3 and they hire some very good quest designers and writers

I hope so too though I wonder why they didn't list down Fallout 3 in their 'In development' section. All I saw are three Star Trek titles. Could it be that they want it to keep its development low profile?

Yeah, but don't forget, Fallout's strong point was game design - and Oblivion sucks at that.

Indeed, but Bethesda can still pull something good out of their hat if they think more of the game and less of the graphics (oh and put way more effort into the AI )

Whoops. Didn't take notice of the job description. My apologies. I went straight to the 'In development' section instead of reading the job listings. No wonder I didn't notice it much earlier. Thanks for pointing it out, Kipi.

And lose approximately half of the money they can get by centering on graphics? Face reality and stop dreaming!

Well, in my opinion, they could use Oblivion's graphics engine or even licence a game engine to save costs. That way, they'll be able to better allocate resources on the other aspects of the game development.

If they can put a decent 3rd person view, turn based combat and SPECIAL into it, then fine

Agreed. The 3rd person view in Oblivion kind of stinks anyway. They'd better take a cue from Fable: TLC to see how its implemented.
