durich wondered why trade skills have not been implemented yet...
I hope Mythic doesn't pull a Verant and release the game without trade skills. They only have 5 months until their expected release, I can tell you trade skills will easily take that long to implement/test/debug.
Mahrin Skel:No trade skills yet because the idiot in charge of doing them has been overloaded with other tasks and hasn't gotten them done. A new World Builder was just hired who will be taking over a lot of the day-to-day economy-related tasks (building treasure tables, vetting quest rewards, chasing bugs in objects, etc.), which will allow the idiot in question the time to go full-bore on trades and player economy stuff.

I know this is a looooooooooooooooooong shot but I want to throw it out there anyway.
I would love to see players be able to put their names on items they make.
Mahrin Skel:"Makers Marks" is one of the things I plan on having, our system can support it and I always thought they were cool.
