Asheron's Call II Release Schedule Changes

Asheron's Call II Live Team Members, Jessica Mulligan, Exec. Producer, and Ken Karl, Program Manager have released a statement regarding changes in the release schedule for monthly episodes. Here's a snippet:
As part of the continual process of listening to you and finding out what your needs are, it has become obvious to us that the epic quest content is not challenging you enough on a monthly basis. By that, we mean that the comments on the content are generally favorable, but we keep hearing that it doesn't last long enough or doesn't have the fine polish you've come to expect.

Personally, we agree. Much of this is just the nature of monthly episodic content; when you're under the time gun on a continual basis, it doesn't take much of an unanticipated problem to set you back and eat up your polishing and testing time. We realize that our quest content is never going to be able to keep up with the desires of all our players, but we want to make sure that everything that we put into the game can be fun, exciting, and challenging for a longer period of time.

In between all of this content creation, we've also started the process of getting your direct opinion on various issues (such as the level 50 elder game, and what can be done to make Allegiances more useful to the members) and are starting to act on that information, which means development time and resources. And on top of all that, we're doing a much-needed rebalancing of major classes and skill trees.
