Show Threads from "the Beginning"

For some time I have been experiencing problems getting the forums to "show threads from the beginning."
Whenever I select it, it seems to automatically revert to showing threads that have been posted in the last 45 days...

The best I can do is have threads show from one year, which can be mildly irritating if I just want to browse older threads in the forums without resorting to the search engine....
Not a huge deal though... I'm just wondering if anybody else has had similar problems.

I have had this trouble with Opera 8.5, K-Meleon and IE 7.

Well, I am using Firefox 2 and with it I have not faced this problem. Though I remember having similar experiences with Firefox 1.5 in the past.

If so - it seems a possible work around would be to select a higher default then 45 days in your settings?
