SYMISTAN - DM instructions

As the other thread is packed full of spam I am opening this up for out of character DM information. Placing stuff into context, clearing up things you are doing right or wrong.

So the current situation is as follows:

The terrorists/Muslim seperatists have the "Senate" surrounded and have made their demands.

The other two political parties have continued to form the govt without them and have ignored there demands.

It would be a prudent move to get them to join as well.

Btw you do all know you need 50% of the seats or political power to form the govt. So if this is a parlimentary system you have to forum govt first before PM and Pres.

If this is teh American system it doesn't matter.

Decide what you guys are going for.

I think the problem is that some people cant get to the forums all the time, so people that can be on more frequently want this to move ahead quicker, even though we havent had the input of other members.

Out of curiosity, how would we go about forming a government first. I want to include the muslims, especially ik, he seems as reasonable as an extremist could be, and the last thing I want is an oppressed minority.

Well basically you get one group and lay out plans for a govt. You decide what you want and see what they want and then you co-habitat.

Basically the two parties in power control Foriegn Policy, economic development etc etc.

You talk to each other via pms and decide who you want to work with. Who do you feel is a good partner to make sure SYMistan will prosper.

Then you make a deal on issues like what is our FP or Economic plan. You may choose to divide up what area you want to cover. Someone can cover FP and other social services or education.

Basically if you gain the majority you can decide how the country is run. However if you don't agree with something you can join the opposition and your rule of govt falls.

So we should be manuevering to find out what party we can ally with, then those two parties vote on everything without the third?

Basically yeah the third of course can attempt to cause trouble. But if we decide on a form of government you still need more than 2/3rds to pass the law or legilsation. So you need some tacit approval from the third party.

I wanted more parties in the game to create a greater divide so 2/3 would hard to get and would require mroe than 2 parties. Sadly not enough people, unless we split the terrorists and muslims up again.

But then we would need to make all teams 4 players each and that would not be fair.

I am still open to more people. If I can get three more players to play i will make the muslim seperatists a seperate party once again and i will join myself. I will post this in the other spam thread and ask pm some people if they want to join.

After PMing some people and waiting for responses, it seems our teams are set. So we are looking at five teams total (i want to create trouble ).

The share of power is as follows:

Communists (largest team so get most power with 6 members) - 30%
Demcrats (Second largest team with 4 members) - 27%
Muslim Seperatists (third largest with 3 members) - 23%
Terrorists (Fourth largest and with 2 members) - 15%
Independents (who i will control to fill in stalemates etc) - 5%

1. Ilya Guzanov - Will join which ever party will give him a ministerial position and a seat in the cabinet.
