You raise your weapons against the dwarves who react in the same way. They seem more than willing to defend themselves.

Round 1
  • Dwarf 1 runs in towards Sh'rarn and delivers a slash of his waraxe but MISSES.
  • Sh'rarn's attempt to persuade everyone to stop the violence FAILS - no doubt due to the time constraint on his persuasive attempt.
  • Sess swings his Greatsword round in a mighty arc but MISSES Dwarf 4
  • Halgrath also attacks Dwarf 4, but it is a poor maneouver and comes woefully short of the dwarf. MISS.
  • Dwarf 3 chooses to attack Halgrath seeing a weakness perhaps but also MISSES.
  • Kron has more luck and HITS his intended target, Dwarf #1, for 2 damage.
  • Kron capitalises on this, dealing a deadly blow to Dwarf 1. Dwarf 1 is now unconcious.
  • Dwarf 2 attampts to hit Halgrath but MISSES.
  • Dwarf 4 also attacks Halgrath and has more luck than his friend HITTING for 4 points of damage.

Round 2
  • Having failed with Diplomacy, Sh'rarn resorts to attacking a dwarf, he didn't want his new friends dead after all... He MISSES Dwarf 3.
  • Sess attacks Dwarf 4 again dealing a devastating blow for 10 damage. Dwarf 4 is now unconcious
  • Halgrath has more luck than he had previously HITTING Dwarf 3 and dealing 3 points of damage.
  • Dwarf 3 counter-attacks Sh'rarn and MISSES.
  • Kron again uses Magic Missile and HITS Dwarf 2 for 5 damage.
  • Kazar MISSES Dwarf 2.
  • Dwarf 2 MISSES Sh'rarn.

Round 3
  • Sh'rarn attacks Dwarf 3 and MISSES.
  • Sess also fails to hit. His MISS was on Dwarf 2.
  • Continuing the run of bad luck, Halgrath MISSES Dwarf 3
  • Dwarf 3 does HIT though, almost knocking Sh'rarn unconcious for 11 points of damage!
  • Kron's Magic Missile finishes off Dwarf 2, knocking the Dwarf into unconciousness. The MM HIT fior 3 pts of damage.
  • Kazar's attack comes far short of hitting Dwarf 3. A complete MISS.

Round 4
  • Sh'rarn, though hampered by his wounds, deals a blow to Dwarf 3 HITTING for 4 points of damage and knocking the last dwarf into unconciousness.

Right, that's the combaat over. You are all still in the tavern ad many of the onlookers are in shock at how you have dispatched these dwarves who hadn't even seemed particularly hostile. All the dwarves you were fighting are now on the ground slowly bleeding to death.

Sh'rarn glared at Kazar and ground out through the pain of his wounds, "Was that really neccesary?! At least we didn't kill any of them, though that may only be a matter of time."

Sterwick seemed to be in some kind of shock, presumably why he had not got involved in the combat. Odd, that the dwarves who had taken an interest in him had completely ignored him during the battle. Perhaps they just didn't want to face even more foes at the same time. Seeming to come out of his daze, he asked what the party wanted to do next, his gaze never straying far from the dwarves on the ground.

Kron leapt up out of his defensive position and rummaged through his pack. Finding his silk rope, he set about tying the four dwarves to a beam supporting the tavern's roof. Then, with that job out of the way, he spun around, walking straight up to Kazar, and, pulling his face up to his, whispered, "If you ever, EVER risk my life for your wanton temper, then I will too show you my temper!" Then turning across, Kron said to Sess, "And you. Keep a tighter leash on your friend here!"

Walking off, Kron moved over to make sure Sh'rarn was okay, trying to help him where possible.

He opened his mouth to say something and then shut it again, it felt safer to just soak up the insults and glares. "I thought it was neccessary, didn't you see the look on their faces?" he was trying to make up for his foolish actions, to make up an excuse, so typically him

Sh'rarn choked and waved away Kron with a grateful smile and nod.
"You don't kill someone because he looks at you in the wrong way! How would you like it if everyone did the same to you? You couldn't butcher them all!"

"Well Sh'rarn is right. At least we DIDN'T kill any of them...yet"..

Ignoring his own wound for the time being, Halgrath walks towards Sh'rarn, with the intention of attending to the paladin first. But Sh'rarn waived Halgrath away, instead motioning towards the four dwarves already neatly tied-up by Kron and Sesshomaru.

Bending down to inspect their wounds, it was clear that their's was by far worst than any of the wound suffered by the party. So Halgrath focussed on the mental discipline he had been taught so often, and offered a prayer to Lathander.

Instantly his begins to feel a familiar sensation, a kind of reassuring warmth emanating from his hand. Focussing and guiding the healing energy, Halgrath touch one of the unconcious dwarf on the shoulder. The moment of contact, the dwarf begins to look not so pale.

Halgrath went about to do the same with the rest of the their captives...

note: er Rav, by choosing the Healing & Good domain means i can use 'change' any spell to an equivalent healing spell in the same lvl isn't? I am not sure then what's the max no of healing i can do...maybe only three? (2 memorized + 1 domain)

So what would happened if only 3 of them gets healing?

"Halgrath! what are you doing you half minded trollop?!" he rushed over towards him with the intent of knocking him away from the dwarf, quickly explaining his actions "They could kill us!! when our backs are turned." He replied to Sh'rarn, "But they said they were going to kill him!!!"

I've put some notes up on the discussion thread but basically anyone who wants to help the dwarves should roll Heal.

Sh'rarn glared at Kazar. The dwarf was riling him and he had less tolerance for it in his current state. "Kron just tied them up! They've been unconcious, you expect them to attack as soon as they wake up, hindered as they are?!"
For good measure, he walked up to where the dwarves lay and disarmed them.

Party gains 4x Dwarven Waraxe.

"Are you happy they're not going to attack now? You don't know whether that was just a threat or not and you don't kill someone on the off-chance!"

"Good idea Halgrath, the best way to show these dwarves we don't follow the minds of an impertinent buffon, is to aid them as best we can. I know a little about the healing arts, so perhaps I could help." Kron walked over, in an effort to assist Halgrath.

Casts Heal:
1d20+0
14+0 = 14

Halgrath casts Cure Light Wounds three times restoring three groggy dwarves to conciousness. They're obviously unhappy about being beaten by your group but despite some struggling cannot work themselves free of the ropes.

Kron's attempt to use Heal on the final unconcious dwarf fails.

Sh'ran also attempts to stabilise the dwarf:
Heal
1d20+4
6(2+4)

That fails and the dwarf loses another HP.
Try again:
1d20+4
15(11+4)

The dwarf is now stable, but still unconcious (he won't bleed to death now).

The concious dwarves await your decision. What do you wish to do with them?

" Im just glad we are alright, how are you holding up Sh'ran?Sesshomaru could see that the group was a little angered by Kazar's actions, he went over to Kazar to confort him.
*walks over to kazar and talks to him in a low voice so that no one else hears*" cheer up ol friend, you were just looking out for the well being of everyone else, no reason to look so glum, they'll come around to seeing that, but the next time you shouldnt be so hasty, remember this time your actions dont reflect on you and me ,but on everyone else too and not everyone here is as understanding as I am, nor share your opinions on fighting. Just something to give thought to in that stubborn head of yours*laughs* Sesshomaru hoped that this would ease Kazar and not sound like a lecture, hopefully Kazar wouldnt feel bad about what he did but instead learn from it.

"Good point, Sesshomaru and well made. Your words bring comfort and ease, and I am happy to see that I still have a friend among our group. What do you think we should do with the dwarfs(dwarves?)" he looked up at them, they looked as if they wanted to murder him at first glance. "Perhaps Sh'rarn we should interrogate them?"

Sh'rarn shrugged, "Ask them questions if you want to. I have no problem with that. I'm curious as to why they would be here myself."

Kazar nodded and walked up to one of the dwarfs, the dwarf tried to spit on him, but failed miserably "Why did you come to kill Sterwick?!" he kicked the dwarf.
