And I'd be the one by the name of Bunny.
Oh, I'm writing out my Paladin character (Sh'rarn) at least for now, for simplicity's sake. For the benefit of the story he will continue to watch the area where Halgrath and Kon vanished and help the dwarves reestablish a local foothold.

It seems to me that druids, like bards, may be a little *too* good.
My druid in my latest Icewind Dale save is level 9, which he reached at 90,000 experience, which is insanely low.
Druids are similar to mages in their usefullness, except, that they learn cleric spells instead, gain immunities such as poison immunity and fatigue immunity (timeless body), can shapeshfit into incredibly powerful monsters, and unlike mages, they can wear at least some armour.
Now, mages can keep on going for quite a while with lots of weak spells like magic missile before needing to rememorise their spells. It's true that druids don't have this, but they do have spells such as call lightning and smashing wave that dish out enough damage to kill most things basic spells would be used about 3-4 times.
I'm now going to call attention to weapon summoning spells, such as beast claw, flame blade and moonblade, which are all great weapon summonings, they're also quite low level spells, beast claw, in particular, is a level 2 spell, but it gives the user two attacks per turn, and puts the users strength to 18/72, which really does seem quite unfair for such a low level spell.
I'll just make my last point, druids, using cleric spells, don't need to memorise all their spells, unlike mages.
Well, it's likely that only one, or two, of the people who might read this has played Icewind Dale, but I just wanted to state my opinion. | Heh, after writing that I was firmly set on the druidic road. |

| | | actualy, there are enough people to argue against that, and even more people who will argue that other classes are overpowered, so....

| | If you want to write a biography, feel free. I wrote one ages back, for my Paladin (and if you look aback at the older threads on this forum there was something else too ). The bio I wrote is on pg11 of this thread I think.
It should be fine for you to watch for a while, in any case... |
