| | Sorry to hear that, Kip, good luck with the Army though.
I'd be willing to step in as DM if you give me the neccesary info. I could probably get enough help with it, too.
So, if you want to do that, I don't mind.
Heh, slade beat me to my volunteering. |

| | | Hmm... it would be fine to me, if other players agree with it too.
Looks like I have to start translate some notes to english.
Oh, and it seems that you have to make the char-thread again, or just ignore 10 first posts and put it all there. Either way, you have to make some redoings.

| | I'm sorry to hear about that Kipi, but then again, there is nothing wrong with having a life outside the internet .
It's just a pity the whole quest had so many stumbling blocks, that just when they might have been solved, we are hit again.
And if Rav does take over, which I hope he will, does that then cancel his char out of the game?
Good luck and best wishes for the future Kipi.:-) |

Technically it would be easier if I was to delete my Paladin and just take over the Sterwick character, if I takee charge.
But, I would wait on making such a decision until I'd seen the Sterwick notes, thought how I would run it and see if other people wish the character to remain in the story.
AFAIK, there's no rules against the DM having control of a plot-ignorant character or even running two characters, it just gets more complex.
Oh, thanks for the support darkwolf & DJV. |

| | Ravager, just remember not to overcompensate and make your character as dumb as a brick. Whenever we had to change DMs here in RL, we always had a problem with the person's character becoming totally useless.
I agree that it may be a good idea, but you will have to either work it out of the game (your character) or alter the current path the game has taken, which would be difficult.

| | Hill, perhaps you could take over Rav's character?
Seeing as you are not currently in this, and you were interested in joining...
Up to you of course, but it would be great if you could join to help out. |

| | Instrumental word being were. Not at the moment. I would say Magrus, but he won't be around much longer, if I remember correctly.
I'll just surf the game thread and comment, but I think that as it is Rav's charatcer, and he made it to his tastes, he should be the one to control it. I fear that I rarely use any type of warrior.
Besides, at the point your at, I think Rav's got enough experience and has enough people like Magrus, Siberys and the rest of us to fall onto if he needs assistance. You too, along with darkwolf and Yepi. I would only get in the way, trying to figure out which direction the charatcers work. (I have to admit, I am only halfway through the dialouge thread)

| | Okay, I think Ravager is now officially the DM of the game.
I have started to send details/notes/information to Ravager, but I think it's going to take a bit time before you can continue the campaign. Hopefully that point will be soon though.

My character will probably take more a back-seat in the story so I don't direct the storyline from two different angles (my character and Sterwick).
I think I can handle it though, just expect less crucial plot dialogue from my character, that kind of thing. Though I'll try not to overcompensate, and welcome opinions once it begins on how I'm doing on that. |

| | Good luck to both Kipi and Ravager here. If you have problems Rav, go and ask Siberys, more likely, as he is far more knowledgable than I at the 3.5 rulebook.
I'll just lurk and pop in suggestions. If you wish to stear the game a certain way, then you can always utulize your character. I would make him stronger for combat and the like, just so that he isn't totally useless.
If you really need a third person to say something for you character, I guess I could try... I will most definitely not play it, though.
What does Yepi and darkwolf think of this? Either of you have an opinion (aye, you should, you know...)

That or we just all run amok, and hope we end up with suitable decisions . |

| That's good to know. I was worried that I would be regarded as lazy. Now we both will be.
Good luck with your game.

| | @DJV, Well, I'll carry on helping people when I can...
Having a leader is optional, my character just seemed to take over from the storyline point of view, but that doesn't mean one person has to take the lead and others automatically follow- as long as there is general agreement on the direction to take.
So, that's up to everyone's playing style really. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
