| | | Well I'm from Down Under too. As for me, well I'm 10+GMT and I can play afternoons most weekdays, but no mornings.
As for character stats etc, I will sort that out later. |

| | Hi guys!
I stumbled upon this thread after coming back to visit PS:Torment forum. I'm interested to join but I'm afraid i'm only familiar with CRPG having played BG series, IWD series, started NWN (but never got out of Neverwinter), and of course Torment. I don't have any pen & paper experience...
I'm in Malaysia, i think that's GMT +8?? I'm working on weekdays, but that's the most convenient time for me to logon to internet too....
Do you think it's possible? |

| | Actually, I'm GMT+3, not GMT+2 like Rav said.
So, if we think of GMT+10 afternoon, it would be ealry in the morning for me (or, VERY early ), so It'll be hard to me to be online at that times during weeks, but not at weekends (mostly).
Are you able to log in at the evenings in your times. Or at nights? Or at weekends?

| | Yeah, that makes sense. At the moment the UK is in GMT +1 (daylight savings I think) so you're still 2 hours ahead of me Kipi. Quote: |

The first thing you should do is choose a class, you want to try (use the website I referred to near the top of the 1st page. Then you'll get a lot of skill points to put into skills like in Neverwinter Nights, we'll help you work out the bonuses to those skills.
As for times, I'm should be around most evenings and Saturday during the day. Maybe some mornings but that's going to depend on when I have to go. I'll check that at some point.

But then, we have Rav. In his country it would be about 5 am.
Okay, just to synchronize our clocks, the time is now a about few minutes to 3 pm here

| | Ok, let's just try and work out the times for a sec...
At 12 noon Aus times it will be
10 am in Malasia
10 pm in East Coast America
7 pm in Central America
5 pm in West Coast
And 5 pm in Finland
Hmm, working around this is sure going to be fun!
*Sigh* crahsed before we even start... (hopefully not) |

*Sigh* crahsed before we even start... (hopefully not) | Yes, it will be a bit difficult, but I hope we can manage that.
And one correction, it's not 5 pm, but 5 am
I'm not living in America, but in Europe
So, just to clear things up, I would ask everybody who are interested to post what time it is in their country when they are posting it. In that way, it would be easy to compare using the time in our own country, the time told in post and the time said in post.
I don't mind doing that calculation, but all I need is that everybody make that post

| | I just wanted to stop in and say if you needed help with the rules Kipi, feel free to let me know (PM or IM, or here). I was planning on helping Ravager get a grip on them, but ended up sick the past week or so, ruining that. It does look like you got quite a nice result here of people wanting to start. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.

| | @Kythras I'm using MSN, dihur_ashavar@hotmail.com But DON'T but any e-mails there, I don't read those, I use it only for messenger
Okay, so this is what our clocks would be:
(btw, for easy calculating, I'm using 24-hour clock system)
dj_venome: 14.00
Kythras: 14.00
darkwolf: 12.00
Kipi (me ): 7.00
Ravager: 5.00
Chus: 0.00
So IMO it wont be THAT bad problem at weekends. But challenge it is.
@Magrus feel free to join our game
We could use some expert here
So, if Mag joins, then we have six players. That should be enough.

| | Correction: At the time of your last post Kip, it was 6PM here. It's GMT +1 (until the clocks change next month anyway )
Wait I've read it properly now. 5AM? Think I'd prefer a little later really. Quote: |

Wait I've read it properly now. 5AM? Think I'd prefer a little later really. | Yeah, it will soon change, to me also. So next month it would be for me about 6 and Rav about 4. So we have to make it to start later, or several ours earlier.
And that was more for synchronizing, not the actual starting time
That is another matter, and for me it's also dependable of the day (not just what day of the week it is but also the date)
So, what everybody thinks if I open the thread for characters tomorrow?
I also think that we could use it during game as diary or journal.
So, if everybody agree with me, I think we could do things like thi - I open the thread
- You send the characters to me via PM
- I put every character to their own posts
- If everything is clear, you just post that it's ok
- If not, then we clear it out via PM or in the thread, as you see fit
- When everybody is ready, I'll start the game-thread
- During games, you can post notes to there, like what you see important or what happened
- I'll put some notes there also, like maps or letters you find, so that you can find them more easily. I think I make one post to beginning where I'll post those kinds of things that are going to be attach´ment
This ok to all?

| | What I would recommend is that you start a character thread and we post our characters there, then discuss any changes that may be needed on this one, and as we progress we update our characters- e.g. XP and loot.
And you can make a seperate post containing other important items found along the way such as plot-important documents
So pretty much what you've said... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
