| | | When Sh'rarn awoke light was streaming through the slats of the shuttered window. Wondering what time it was he quickly got dressed and went outside. He knocked on Twaynith's door but there seemed to be no-one inside. Curious, he wandered down the stairs and saw her absently picking at her breakfast. She smiled at his approach... |

| | | Tway had woken with a determined mindset. She was over her infatuated torpor from the night before and had a new resolution. She was after all a ranger, people who prided themselves on their hunting ability... only now, instead of hunting game, she was hunting Sh'rarn.
Today she was clad in more comfortable clothes than her travelling gear from the night before. A black form-fitting linen blouse and a simple dark-red skirt skirt. She had her legs crossed seductively and was using every piece of body language she had learnt in her years in Luskan to draw attention to her... commodities.
She waved at Sh'rarn as he came downt the stairs and said, easily hearable in the silent room, "I trust you slept well m'lord?...

| | He walked over to her table. She looked happier and more confident than yestereve, for which he was glad. Sh'rarn couldn't fail to see the difference in her attire either. More...provocative and pleasing to the eye than her travelling clothes which Twaynith seemed to be fully aware of... and taking full advantage of. Quote: |

| | | She pulled out a schair for him, motioning got him to sit. "Excelent, m'lord. I was sorely in need of a bed to sleep in, I had forgotten how much more comfortable they can be than dirt and soft grass." She pushed the remnants of her breakfast, having eaten her fill.
Twaynith was after all an ex-prostitute, so she knew her stuff when it came to making herself appealing. She was showing a little more bosom than was quite decent, but she figured if she could get away with it anywhere, it was Baldur's Gate. Her skirt was ridding fairly high on her shapely hips, accentuating her curves and revealing her long pale legs. She angled her body forward slightly bringing herself closer to Sh'rarn and making sure he couldn't miss her provocations...

He smiled while he said this, his way of letting her know it was only a jest.
She'd angled herself forward in a way that exposed more of her body. He liked her but not in that way she seemed to be hoping for. Besides he would feel he was taking advantage of her after her indecision last night. How to tell her this without causing a rift though was the difficulty... |

| | | She did lean back a bit, she didn't want to freak him out, she could exercise some restraint... sure. She took a sip from the glass of slightly murky water at her side. She couldn't expect much better, though it wasn't a patch on the pure water of a mountain spring. The day was yet young, and she had hours of time to spend with Sh'rarn. She'd win him over, if it meant sinking her nails into his back and not letting go...

| | | Hmm...perhaps telling her could wait a while. A growl from his stomach reminded him what his next course of action should be. Sh'rarn motioned over a waitress and ordered some breakfast, while waiting he studied Twaynith, "Do you still wish to visit the hierophant?". His breakfast then arrived and he started to eat, waiting for Twaynith's reply... |

| | | She nodded, deciding to deffinately back off, the clothing was enough with tou leaping on him. "I think seeing your heirophant would be for the best. I don't really know what else I am going to do, other than head back to the wilds." She ofcourse, had no intention of going back tot he wilds, at least not unless she was dragging a bound and gagged Sh'rarn behind her. She waited for Sh'rarn to finished his meal and rose. "Shall we?..."

| | | Sh'rarn finished his meal. She was already standing, obviously eager (more than he would have possibly expected) to meet the hierophant. "Of course, let's go."
He directed her through the streets of Baldur's Gate, "The Red Knight faith does not have temples as such, only shrines. We'll be heading towards one of those. It's near the Hall of Wonders which itself is hard to miss."
Eventually they reached a small building in the older side of the city that had been walled around originally.
Sh'rarn knocked on the door of the house and was answered by an acolyte in Red Knight vestments. "We were told to expect you Sir Sh'rarn", the acolyte said "Please follow me". The acolyte lead them to the Red Knight hierophant further inside the building. "Welcome my child", he addressed Sh'rarn. "Who else have you brought before me?". |

| | | Tway followed Sh'rarn through the winding streets of Baldur's Gate. She was no stranger to urban settings, havin lived in Luskan for more than four years, but Baldur's Gate was subtly different. More akin with Silverymoon than the universally hostile Luskan. All the same, she wore her cowl pulled over her revealing hordes, they were just making their way to a shrine, Tway didn't want to start a riot.
They atlast reached the Shrine of the Red Knight, an impressive, if somewhat small building of red and white marble. Tway was somewhat apprehensive about entereing the building, but Sh'rarn seemed to have to qualms about bringing her into it, so she followed, albeit somewhat reluctantly. She nodded to the acolyte and bollowed him through the passageways to te central room. "Welcome my child, who else have you brought before me?" "Twaynith, Follower of Sune Firehair and..." She threw back her hood, revealing her heritage for him to see, "Tiefling Ranger..."

| | | @ Kythras & Ravager, been playing cricket so I haven't been able to respond, I'm going to go back a bit and then catch up, sorry about this. A paladin! Kron thought amazed, he had to be careful now, paladins usually try and make him repent on the spot, which wasn't the problem, the problem was they actually had the skill to do it. Claiming his drink, Kron sat down away from the couple, biding his time for now. Due to being a drow, he has learnt many things about spying, such as discerning things without looking. Amazed, he saw a slight show of horns from the woman, and he thought he heard the man say he was Asaimar. This was turning out strange indeed, a demon and an angel, paladin and ranger, meeting together. Chuckling to himself, he saw the man get up to get drinks, glancing back at Kron, who immediately hid his features. Asking the barman for another drink on the man's tab, he listened in again. Hearing they were going to the temple was rather interesting. Needing a place to sleep, Kron used his powers to move someone's gold out of the pocket, to fall softly on the floor. Walking over he picked it up, this was a feat he was used often, and paid for a room.
Rising early, Kron slipped down to have breakfast, and seated himself in a corner where we wouldn't be noticed. Soon the Tiefling came down, dresed in an attempt to woo the Paladin. Finally he came down, heading straight towards the Tiefling. Hearing them sayinig they were going to the temple, Kron decided that would be interesting to see, and besides, if the people were going to the same island as him, it would be worthwhile following them. The man was obviously infatuated with the woman, who was madly in love with him, so they wouldn't be watching if they were followed.
Sneaking in, Kron watched in amusement as the Tiefling threw back her hood. Seeing the looks of suprise on the people's faces, Kron knew the only thing that could top that is if a Drow were to do that. Grinning, Kron waited for his chance. |

Originally Posted by Twaynith "Twaynith, Follower of Sune Firehair and..." "I'm sure Sh'rarn has a good reason to bring this demon-touched woman before us." the hierophant stated looking in Sh'rarn's direction.
Looking in Tway's direction he said,"Twaynith is neither evil or truly demonic. It is an accident of fate that she is tiefling and she has proved herself to me." He looked around the room slowly eventuially settling his gaze on the hierophant, That should be good enough for all of you."
The hierophant was startled that anyone could sponsor a Tiefling let alone an Aasimar Paladin, one of the races so diametrically opposed to Evil. "The question remains, why do you bring her before us?".
"We are both in need of direction and I believed you could help us", Sh'rarn replied, "there are rumours of an island named Sterenear and I have heard of orcs running rampage on the island killing many innocents, do you know anything more of this?"
The hierophant paused in reply before answering, "I can tell you more to this soon, but what does this Tiefling want?"
Sh'rarn narrowed his eyes, "Her name is Twaynith."
The hierophant nodded "My apologies". |

| | | Seeing now was as good a time as any, Kron made his move. Pushing his way through everyone, he pulled his cloak one last time, and walked towards the Paladin. "Greetings Paladin, we meet again. I see that being in love with this Tiefling has softened your heart towards evil, is it truly wise to do this? You are probably wondering why I am here, but it is because I too wish to go to Sterenear." Kron said all this with a smirk on his face, each word carefully calculated. |

| | | Tway did not falter through the whole proceedings. She maintain her gaze at the heirophant, partially to show him that she was not planning any demonic foolery, but in no small part, also because she didn't think she could handle the disgusted or mistrusting stares of the acolytes. But Sh'rarn words struck deep with her, he was defending her, in the face of an elder of his faith... perhaps there was hope. "I can tell you more to this soon, but what does this Tiefling want?.. My apologies"
Her gaze was still locked with the heirophant, though she had visibly relaxed. "I am here for answers, Lady Firehair is a matron to me, not a guide. I know not quite I have come to Baldur's Gate. Some unseen force has guided me here, guided me to Sh'rarn and in turn directed me to this shrine. I would not dare to call myself an expert on the machinations of the higher beings and their cohorts, so I you for answers..." She exhaled slowly, let them make of that what they will, it was the truth.
Then that cloaked figure from the inn pushed through the crowd. Tway's eyes narrowed dangerously, he had followed them, there was no other way he would be in the shrine. Before Sh'rarn could give a chance to speak she stepped forward, confronting the strange man. "Throw back your hood stranger, even I hold no secret here. We are under the eyes of a god" For she sincerely doubted te Red Knight had anything more interesting to do than watch the unfolding drama in his shrine, "Whatever you hide, let it be unhidden, you shall be judged on merit here, as I have," she gave a very pronounce smile to Sh'rarn, and waited for his response to the man, though more of her was waiting on his response to the claims of love...

However before he could reply a familiar stranger burst in. How he managed to avoid all the acolytes in the building and get this far in without attracting attention was beyond Sh'rarn.
The hierophant angrily demanded, "Who are you and why are you here?!"
Several of the acolytes raised their weapons again though the stranger didn't appear fazed in the least. Quote: |
