Sterwick Campaign: Inter-Character Dialogue (Low Spam)

I intended this thread is going to last through the campaign, though obviously it's going to be a bit different and more based on what's actually happening in the campaign itself.
As for the names- Kazar (that's Yepi's) and Sesshomaru (slade's).

"I see you have been busy, Kron", Sh'rarn said. "How did you meet them?".
Another thing he noted was that Kron hadn't described any of the 'various' tasks he'd been put through. As far as he knew the strangers could have been sent to watch them. Not that he wouldn't extend courtesy anyway, a Paladin didn't go around making accusations, after all.
Looking at the strangers he saw they were both attired as such they were used to combat though it was odd to see a dwarf and an elf together. Wait, the elf didn't seem that elven, he had some human traits too, so another half-elf. Still an odd pair.

"I would prefer not to mention the tasks, for both your benefits and mine. I did however have to fight some foolish people who learnt their lesson, though I would not have survived if Kazar and Sesshomaru had not stepped in. After having talked to them, they too were interested in going to Sterenear, and the Cult was more than happy to comply, what with them saving the life of their favourite drow. So now we shall be a formidable pair when we begin to strike fear into our enemies hearts."

You still won't make me say the tasks .

And Slade, is it ok if I call you just Sess, I won't remember the full name, just like I call Kythras' Tway because I cannot remember the full name (and when I do I spell it wrong )

"Very well, I'll respect your privacy", not that Sh'rarn was too sure whether whether he'd want to know what tasks Kron had undertaken to get them passage. Some of them were likely to be at least unsavoury. Perhaps this was why Kron was unwilling to share details, if so Sh'rarn could appreciate that. "Anyway, well done. Where is our ship and when will it set off? We should probably prepare to leave".

(sorry guys, this is my first post here and probably too late to really make any decent introduction....

As the Cult goes on their way to prepare the ship as per their arrangement, my character Halgrath has managed to secure himself a ticket on the same ship as his Order recalls back a favor from the cultist. Not wishing to reveal his Order ties with such cultist, he tries to keep the least contact with anyone)

Finally, I will be on my way. I wonder what's the big deal with the secrecy thing anyway. Well, the sooner i can recover 'it' the better. Maybe this Isthar would be a welcome change from my classroom? Hmm...

With that thought in mind, Halrath retires himself. It has been a long time since he had any adventures, not since the days he spent with his brothers back in Icewind Dale....

Kazar turned round abruptly and stared at this person who had so rudely, at least in his opinion tapped him on his shoulder. Keeping his personal opinions aside he questioned thie person

"Who may you be? I don't think i have seen you around. I am Kazar and am pleased to make your aquantance(sp?) Is there any destination you have in mind which you may want to travel to?"

Kazar was getting sligthtly worried, a habit of spouting questions and hasty introductions supported this

" Whoa..easy there..I was just wondering about looking for some information of the area and heard the guard scolding someone..thought I should see the commotion"Sesshomaru could sense a bit of tension on the dwarf. " Look I bring you no harm, as for my destination I havent decided yet...would you care to join me or I could join you, I know a half elf and a dwarf are not common, but I feel fate has brought me to you for a reason...what do you say"Sesshomaru was thinking that the dwarf would surely decline his offer,but if he was right about fate then the outcome would be different.
" How rude of me not to introduce myself...I am called Sesshomaru"Sesshomaru hoped that this would break the ice...meaning that Kazars tension would go away if he know whom he was.

The heavy atmosphere surrounding the 2 figures deflated instantly, he had been worried ready to murder this half elf, yet he proved lively and friendly, he unclenched his hand at his hand, wiping the sweat against his tunic and said
"i would be delighted to have you join me!" the words came out of his mouth without him comprehending of what he had said. Im still not sure where i want to go, but i heard that there is some interesting finds in an island not far from here. This sailor there" he said pointing to a burly figure "he has stopped me from getting there. Somehow i must obtain tickets for us. Any ideas?"

He was starting to detail his plans slowly to the half elf.

" We could sneak on board during the night and use the shadows of the night to hide us from sight"Sesshomaru did not know what else to say at that moment, he had hoped that Kazar would not have thought wrong of him for suggesting this but there was probably no other way." Do have anyother ideas that could be better Kazar?"asked Sessshomaru.

Meet with the man named Lithoris. Seems simple enough. Trustworthy, loyal, but suspicious. He will be found in the docks, in an alley next to a faded orange cart. Kron repeated the instructions to himself. The Cult didn not explain what this was about, simply saying this man would give him some keys if he could prove he was worthy. Basically, they told him Drow meant worthy.

"Gooday Lithoris. I have been sent to meet with you."

"Only a true man would meet me."

"I believe I am that man." Kron took a breath, and withdrew his hood.

"DROW! I knew that Cult had Drow members. This was worth all those years of lip-service. Now you can see the results. ATTACK!" Suddenly two other men attacked Kron, instantly pinning him to the ground, and unable to fight back, Kron just sat there. They tied him up, while the men made plans. Suddenly two people came around the corner.

"Bugger off!" Kron's capturer yelled, pulling out a sword menacingly.

"No one talks to me like that!" Kazar withdrew his axe and began attacking, Sess joining it.

The fighting was occuring around Kron, until finally, he withdrew his arms from the rope. Firing a magic missile, he knocked the man attacking Sess uncouncious. The men seemed unsure, and Kazar and Sess capitilised, causing them too to feel the wrath of their weapons. Eventually Kron was freed.

"Nice timing. Might I ask why you two are here?"

"We seek passage to Sterenear." Sess replied, ignoring Kazar's glare.

"Is that so. My companions and I do too. I must simply retrieve some keys, and then we shall be given passge. Would you two be interested in joining, we could certainly use the help?"

Kazar was suddenly all ears. "Lead on!"

Kron led off back to the Cult, arriving at the Blushing Mermaid soon after.

"Who are you and what are your intentions?"Sesshomaru was not sure he could trust this figure, he had goen out of his way to trust Kazar and was not sure he should do hte same with this one,but if Kazar had no problem with him then neither did Sesshomaru, he thought if this figure tried anything two would easily overpower him."Why were you held captive right now?"

"I would prefer not to go into details, let's just say I am different. But please, we must leave, it is not safe here. I will not backstab you now, because I owe my life to you, so you have nothing to fear from me or my compains." Kron glanced around, he wanted to move on immediately. This man would not have only two assistants, he would have several more contacts, and the sooner they left, the better.
