Yes, however, you couldn't join the Order of High sorcery because of alignment restrictions. You would either have to be a sorcerer and forego the normal benefits of specialization, or be a renegade wizard and be hunted by all three orders (white, black and red). Barbarians are chaotic, that sort of suits you. To warn you though, you would only be able to hit creatures easily that are not good in melee, like spellcasters, and you're spells wouldn't be as strong as a normal mage. Does that seem like what you want?

Oh its a shame you live so far away man. We could have so much fun! Well... maybe. We might end up in jail after we get out of the hospital.
