thats why i said 'tasked to get it back'. otherwise you would be hired or something. Now someone asks it of you and you go. Hoping, naturaly, for a reward, but going first and waiting for reward later, even if thanks are the only rewards (its not like you'd bring it back again)

Hmm. For that you should consider that if someone asks you to go steal something and you have no idea why they want it, would that neccesarily be a good thing to do?
From my own perspective it is going to depend on the circumstances a lot.

Yeah, if you use an Inc/Dia for say sneaking around in a lucky manner, it can be justified as either one.

Those Inc/Dia's will have both labels meaning it's legal in both sections (and affects your alignment accordingly).

Now, there are three types, positive effect which is Incantation, Negative, which is diablerie, and a neutralish effect, which is either. If it's neutral, all you as a player have to do is justify it's usage for a selfish/selfless cause.

heh, I was putting my own personality in it too much. Unless I realy knew that someone, there is no way I'd go and steal something for him/her pro bono, so I'd be informed and knowing what i was doing and what i was looking for and stuff since a real friend would tell me that

Now, read chapter one, 'how to make friends'

*phew* There's certainly enough possible interpretations.
If you provide an reasonable justification for why something should be a diablerie/incantation when it could go either way, I'm happy to accept that.

Oh, I would never say you would go out stealing for your friends.

lets get this straight, I never steal, even not as rogue. Even my evil characters would never steal. I'm in the item retrieval and spatial displacement business. I'm a freelance businessman and try to accomodate the market and hope to meet its demand adequately and if possible ahead of time

LOL! I was generalising anyway, I wasn't saying you'd go...uh...acquiring things. *coughthief!cough*
It applies as much to Yepi or anyone else who is going to join as it does you anyway.

I'll play his backup, a fighter

I was thinking about 1 level of cleric to have some small healing for my own, if only to stabilize. What are the gods and stuff I can choose from?

Well actually it depends, can a rogue succesfully ride and fight on a horse? Will there be horses in this campaign

Normal Core gods, lest you see something else you like in Dieties and Demigods, which I will allow the Olympian and Asgardian pantheons as well.

No real reason behind that I can guarentee, but if you see that Loki is better than mask, go for it.

EDIT: Horses yes, you will need to make ride checks each round to fight in combat.

Hmm, so paladin and a rogue/sorcerer? Interesting party....

Oh, and yepi, if you don't want to be a regular paladin,

That should have some interesting ideals in it. (scroll up to see the table.)
