Scattered Embers Resource Thread (explicitly no spam, really :D)

This thread is to be used as a resource for the Scattered Embers story, and should include things like links to maps, informative web sites on the Faerun setting, deities and history etc.

While the story itself is loosely based on the Faerun/BG2 setting, and we don't want to get hung up on technical details, enough people have asked questions on location etc. so I was thinking this could be helpful

Note, as I posted earlier. we are not hung up on the technical details in terms of exactly following a setting, character/race stats etc.

The primary interest is in the story itself, the personal histories of the characters, and the interactions between them

Do you have any resources of certain characters, DW? Arkanis comes to mind, just as Artemis, Drizzt, etc.

My request at the BG II: SoA forum came out fruitless.

This is the info on Artemis. Just either follow the limks to related characters at the bottom of the biography, or type the name of whatever character you want to find into the search box.

Note, the bios do contain spoilers for the novels, games, ect.. that the characters are featured in

Thank you, BS. It gave me a lot of useful information about Artemis, Drizzt and other Forgotten Realms characters. Nothing useful about Arkanis, though. The latest/newest recourse that wikipedia gave me was my own thread, which I started at the BG II: SoA forum. I'm guessing he really is just a SoA character and does not have any other appearances anywhere. Not that much of a problem at any rate, because that means I'm pretty free to give him a personality in the story, if I wish to.

On a side note al my npcs are just people I came up with to flesh out my character. The Gods I mention are all part of the FR elven pantheon. the places i use are from the FR maps and can be found on the sites DW linked to.
