Another idea would be having a hangover results in psionic effects like those of a wild mage. You're thinking about something but have no idea what's going to happen.
sytze, yes, aragorns' line.

| | @WBG,
very nice post!
I'm really enjoying the way people are developing their characters, seems we have an extroardinarily diverse cast

@DW: Do you, by any chance, have found an online map of the area we're travelling in?

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to create an additional thread here, to be used strictly for resources such as maps and the like, in order to save people from having to wade through the Discussion thread.
Given that some people, such as Demortis, are unfamiliar with the Faerun/BG2 setting, this might be especially helpful.
Okay EDIT, here they are: http://myth-drannor.net/DlabraddathN...th/Maproom.htm http://www.fictionalworlds.com/ForgotRealms/maps.htm

Since I'm not always paying attention, it might be the last option...

Anyway, to make things a bit easier, I have just set up a resource thread for us, complete with map links, I hope that helps a little

| | Well done DW!
@Mag, AC, BS
I posted again, hopefully moving us forward. I'm not sure how to proceed in terms of the big picture, but Mag and I are at the Hanging Door, and have a room.
(Mag has a headache and a lump too )

| | | I am about to start composing my next post which will involve some interaction with orcs, possibly even spying on a few.
Have we put any thought thus far about the higher powers at work, namely, whose got this fodder all organized. It would also be nice to know if the orcs bear any type of mark on their equipment or flesh that might lend a clue as to the source.
In the long run, I would say it matters little because I think we're a few weeks off from all merging and putting any real work into an overall theme. Still, if I missed these details in past posts, it would be good to bring them up here for continuities sake.
thanks and good work all, it's quite an eclectic mix of characters. In the annals of Forgotten Realms lore, we'll go down as T'lainya and freaks.

| | | @Ned,
sounds great! To let you know, I have just dashed you off an email.
Hmmm... I'm not sure we have put any thought into the higher power.
I agree though, markings would a good idea. That would help get the ball rolling in terms of our actual first quest.
Maybe in classic D&D style, there is an evil dragon somewhere manipulating the orcs into fighting for its own, nefarious purposes?
Just one thought anyway, I'm sure other people will have ideas too.

| | | Alright, so if nothing has been thrown out there, I may just inject some arbitrary names into my posts when spying on the orcs. They don't have to be used later on.

| Hmmm Ned, you'll be adding T'l to the freak list after the next post I think

| | @Ned...I believe the orcs that mag and cuch ran across all had some sort of similar marking on their armor and such. It would be a nice tie in if it were constant across the bands. I don't think they ever put forth any detail though, so I would guess that leaves you with free reign to be creative with what you see though
