Dash, nice to see you Gorion is actually the only person we can trust, so it's not likely he will betray Imoen. (In the original story he is the one that saves Imoen and the player char from Bhaal, and raises them up). I don't know much about the other elders, though, so we'll need Luis to tells us more about them.

I'm actually working on the very beginning from my char's point of view, so if nobody comes up with anything I'll post it sooner or later (you'd better get working, then to prevent this )

What about a Watcher? Perhaps he'd be suspicious of why Gorion brought Imoen to Candlekeep and in his paranoia he'd be in the middle of investigating them when he finds that they're leaving to the Friendly Arm Inn. Of course he'd follow them until he finds that she's a Bhaalspawn, which would lead to him wanting to kill her. But he can't of course and he ends up maybe saving her life at a certain point (he'd have a chance to kill her then, but he wouldn't follow through). Then he'd join the party.

Anyone want to make a character that falls in love with Imoen?

I wouldn't mind joining in as well. However, a story starting in BG I is quite hard in my opinion. Well, it's quite hard for me at least, since I've only played BG ones. And that little journey through BG I was a very quick journey. Maybe it's possible to have Immie set off from Candlekeep and have her travel towards Athkatla, without the Saravok and Bhaalspawn ingredients from BG I??
And while she journey's towards Athkatla some of us can join in with their own characters. Thoughts??

I've got an idea for my character. All I have to do now is think of what they'll do.

Well, we don't have to follow the original story line (encounter with Sarevok and stuff). We only need the places and important characters form the game (b/c we all know them well).

Folks, what about this: everyone makes a character, describes him with a few lines and post a paralel history. Like, things happening at the same time. Then they all meet or something, but everyone here tells "we need this we need that" but nobody actually started anything...
