| The Trade Table is split up into two groups. Yours, and the vendors. Yours is the one to the left. The vendors is the one to the right. at the bottom of each group, there is a number that indicates the worth of the items in the group. For Example: When Nothing is in the group, the number is 0. When you drag new items unto the group, that number increases. If you have a knife in group, the number migth be 85, ergo: The knife is worth 85 Chips. If you have a Booze worth 10 chips, and a beer worth 5 chips on the group at the same time, the number will be 15 (10 + 5 = 15), because the sum-value of the items is 15 chips. Keep in mind that some items are worth 0 chips.
If you want to sell a pistol worth 100 chips to a vendor, you do like this.
1) Drag the pistol in question, from your inventory, to your group. (The one to the left) Your number should now be 100
2) Drag items / money from the vendors inventory, to the vendors group, until the value of his merchandise is the same or lower than the value of your merchandise. (If the value of his merchandise is higher than the value of your merchandise, and you attempt to carry out the trade, he will refuse!)*
3) Press trade. The groups will then be cleared, and the correct changes should occur in both your, and the vendors, inventories.
*Example: Your Group /// Vendors Group
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ Value = 100 /// Value = 200 = Vendor Refuses
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
But If:
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ Value = 100 /// Value = 100 = Vendor Accepts
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And If
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ Value = 100 /// Value = 50 = Vendor Accepts
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this clears up things. I am ALWAYS available if any Fallout Fans needs help. If this doesn't help you PM me, please.
