| | | The Best Fallout
Well, what do you think? I personally have only played fallout 1, though I have 2 and am considering installing it. Never played tactics. So what do you think is the best one? |

| | | My preference is Fallout 2, maybe because it was the first I played, but I like the storyline of 2 best.
F1 is a close second, because I also like the story here, but somehow it seems "less" then Fallout 2.
Fallout: Tactics is a completely different genre and I have difficulties in comparing it to Fallout 1+2. I like it very much, the storyline is limited, but still fairly good in my oppinion, and I love such tactical games. But in comparison with the "real" Fallouts, it has to come third. |

| | | fallout two, I just found it improved on the original quite well, and fallout tactics, although fun, is just an extension of a franchise. not enough plot. so 2 gets my vote.

| | | They're all good but FO Tactics is a completely different kind of game. Tactics is more like Baldur's gate in that you actually control your party member's actions - up to a squad of six members. I would say FO 1 & 2 are on pretty much an even footing as far as interesting stories, quests, etc. FO 2 has some tougher fighting and better party member commands. If you have FO 2 by all means play it. Then you can decide for yourself which is best. |
