Instead of activating the game via CD, try opening Fallout2.exe from ur harddrive(where u've installed it).

Not really sure what's causing that problem for u tho.

Hmm.. don't worry too much about it. MB the game didnt register itself properly in the registery(I don't think it's the CD).

Well, ur game seems to be working fine as long as u start it the regular way!

Have no idea whats causing that perk to not work properly...
I don't think this'll help(IT MIGHT) but right click on Falout2.exe and then under the compatibility tab, set it to Windows 98.

You've patched the game right? (I think u have, JUST in case)

As for fixing the registery.. I dunno how, sorry!

this is what i found out

putting it on 98 doesn't work !
something is just wrong with the disc and xp or something or the cdrom speed it just too fast for the cd

anywayz
the swift learner perk actually worked

also it said i gained 25 xp points
i actually got 26 on the character creation screen!

but this is real crap cause i need to use my head now for calculation the xp and what bonus i get with the perk :P

is there some way to fix this? oh sry wrong topic oh but nvd
