Screenshots in Fallout 2

Have you guys succeeded to get screenshots from the game? I've tried multiple times, but they are always messed up. Colours are mixed and remember me for the good old CGA times

I've tried to change desktop resolution and color settings, but that didn't help (with 256 colors I got only black screen, or very badly shadowed pictures).

I've used only print screen capturing so if some special screenshot program works with FO2, please share the information. I'm using Windows 2000 Pro.

There's an actual button devoted to screenshots in game, I think it was either F12, F10 or Printscreen; Either way if you press the right button the information box in the corner will say "screenshot taken" and save a bitmap (BMP) file to your Fallout 2 folder.

I should mention screenshotting only works outside of combat...

Ouch. How could I miss that.. I even looked the help screen and didn't find it. Thanks, works fine now.
