Just wanted to share a funny experince...
Did you know that your char is able tip brahmin? Simply do the same to the Brahmin as when you push a NPC

...Anyways... It gave me a good laugh

Do they ever get up actually? They only get back on their feet again when i push them one more time, or when i leave the area and comes back.
