problem in VC

Alrighty...After finishing the seria army depot and becoming a made man with the wrights i return to vault city to talk to the corrections center to get the raiders quest, but him and all the gaurds go hostile on me...what triggered this?? *sighs*


EDIT: I had to reload the game 2 more times before the guy stopped hostiling me...buggy?

If it eventually went away after reloading I'd say it was a bug. Have you been made a citizen of VC yet? I don't think it has to do with being a Made Man though. What all did you do in VC before they went hostile, and did you do anything slightly different the time they didn't go hostile?

leaving marcus at the outer gate seemed to reduce the amount of times the guy went hostile on me

That may be the problem. The people of VC are bigots. Before you become a citizen they won't let Sulik in past the gate for example. They hate ghouls and I'm sure they hate mutants equally. In past games I've not tried taking Marcus into the inner city but I have been able to take Sulik in (though they wouldn't let Sulik in when I only had a day pass).

Its strange that they did not let sulik in; i have never had that problem. Another hostility bug i found was in new reno after i became a made man with the wrights. i was able to initiate conversation with lil jesus but he would hostile me when i was walking out of the casino

Probably because you were labeled a Made Man from the Wright Mob - Mordino's competition. I don't go for Made Man status until I've wiped out the other 3 mobs. I don't think having the Made Man label helps how people react to you - sort of like being labeled a grave robber or child killer.

since ive been a made man i havent noticed a change in people except in new reno. I also have "champion" and "prize fighter"
