NOOOb Questions, help pls...

Recently been playing this gr8 game again. What does the number "xxxx points" in the upper-right portrait in the recruiting screen stand for? Thanks in advance.

I think that's for multiplayer, when you choose characters and equipment for each side.

ye, that makes good sense. Thx. Another Q:

How does the system determine the XP of those in the recruitment pool while not recruited. Do they share the same XP as the core squadies? It kept confusing me since last time I played it, many years ago.

I know they keep gaining experience, but I don't know if it's the exact same amount as you or not.

Well, their XP got unaltered as I re-enter the recruitment screen. I prefer them not to get XP since I could distribute Perks etc. myself, anyway.
