| |  New special encounter?
During travelling through the wastes of Fallout 2, I have stumbled over what I believe is an unknown special encounter. I was unable to catch the name of the encounter because, in all the fuss, I forgot to save the game  . The encounter consists of King Arthur and four of his knights attacking a rat in front of a cave. The rat has 330 HP and it does a great amount of damage to the Knights, but eventually it gets killed by one of them. This should be a reference to the movie "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail". Inside the cave I've found find a chest containing the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
I have taken a couple of screenshots.

I've tried to send a mail to the webmasters, but it said 'returned to sender'.

Officially not, since that's the exact RE where you were supposed to get the HH, but which has been broken. Probably you have installed somekind of fan-made patch which has repaired that encounter, causing you to actually be able to get it.

Congratulations! | I have installed the unofficial 1.05 patch, but for some reason it's still written 1.02b at the main menu... I probably haven't copied the .exe file properly.

Oh well, even my memory fails at times... 
And the version number... I think I have that number too even though I have installed the 1.05 also... probably because 1.05 is fanmade patch.

| | | That was never inserted in the game, although you can get it with fan made patches, since the code was there, just not all the targets. I thought it was in the list but yeah, you are right.

| | This encounter is described in the Nearly Ultimate Fallout 2 Guide. Search for the string 'How to find and use the Holy Hand Grenade part 1' to get to it.
