It doesn't matter which brain you use for the bot. The bot just needs a human brain so if you can recover the brain of the dead soldier from storage then do it. You may even be able to extract Sulik's or Vic's brain for that matter. The bot will act the same either way. Vic and Sulik aren't bad when their combat orders are properly adjusted. Sulik can do a lot of damage with a super sledge or a high end machine gun (the kind the cultists carry). Vic is best with a Pancor shotgun. The deathclaw is pretty useless and will get wasted in a hard fight. Besides he leaves the group at some point and I'm not sure you can get him back.

You can even equip Sulik with the meele weapons that are powered by energy cells (Power fist and Ripper) for great effect. He can unfortunally not reload them himself though - so you have to do that for him.

so the bot will act the same no matter which brain u use? i was hoping it would take on some charactics of the host

edit: i may keep sulik if he can use a gun. he usually is pretty much dead by the time he reaches the enemies OR the fight is already over..marcus and i are the big guns in the party :P

Sure he can use a gun. If you ask him what weapons he's good with he'll tell you what works for him. One of his replies is submachine guns. Just be sure to set the combat controls so he doesn't waste you with it. Tell him with the controls to be sure he doesn't hit you and to use "ranged first then melee" or just "ranged". Also keep telling him to draw his best weapon in combat as he often reverts back to the sledge. He can do a lot of damage with the improved Glock submachine gun but if you can't lay your hands on one (or the ammo) you can use some other machine gun for the time being. Frog Morton has the unimproved version on him but not much ammo. You can usually buy ammo in San Fran or the NCR. Go to the San Fran area and wander around until you find a bunch of cultists fighting a press gang. Let them duke it out and stay out of the fight until only survivors of one side are left. Kill them and take their loot. Some of the cultists should have the good Glocks on them.

Dammit. I would like to try it out, but I killed Sulik yesterday....accidentally. He was too injured to fight on and fled and when I tried to shot his opponent I missed and hit Sulik...tragic story, isn't it? But it made me laugh like a madman...

I didn't reload, because sometimes you have to let them go...

About that Deathclaw. It's not only useless, it always has to through off that damn cloak it wears. You know how much time that takes? Really annoying, especially when you switch between real-time and turn-based frequently.

I know what you mean. I always laugh when Marcus cuts me clean in half with a Bozar blast. Not sure why I find it funny. I also sometimes like to take Marcus with me until he gets himself blown away - I consider him cannon fodder. But he's fun while he lasts. Even if you don't need Myron's brain its still fun to trick him into standing there while you light off the brain extractor. And the entire party is pretty useless on the oil rig. I leave them near where you emerge up the secret escape stairs and solo the rest of the levels. I pick them up again for the final fight with Frank.

Then there have been those games where Vault City or NCR has ticked me off and I wipe them out completely. If you wipe out VC with Vic in the party his daughter gets killed and he goes hostile so you have to kill him too. Anyone else shoot all the pimps, drugdealers and prostitutes in New Reno. Just be sure you don't shoot good townsfolks. You become loved by New Reno in your stats if you do this. I like to clean them out of the way before I take on the mobster clans. Anyway, I digress.

Myron

Myron is also good for getting the cure for Jet quest. Keeping him around just for the XP is good enough.
